Shanghai Dinner

That was my first formal dinner in Japanese Restaurant.
My manager took all my project team to one of Japanese Restaurant in one hotel in Pudong . 
Since I can not read Chinese or Japanese word, I forgot the name of the restaurant. Hehehe
The food is come one by one like a river, ohhhhh my.
 serve Italian food like foie gras.
"its not a duck, its a liver"
"yeaa its a duck liver"

this is Bulu Babi
Do you know bulu babi? Animal that makes us itchy while step it.
The black and ugly ones and lives in bottom of ocean.
Yeaa, this food is extermly expensive so they serve it in very tiny plate.
They combine with egg. What its name??
My Team
When we finished our dinner, we clap our hand for one time together, its a Japanese custom called Tejime.
Wish our project can run successfully. Then we can eat and eat again.

My life is full with coincidence. I just start my career just 10 months a go and they already give me rare chance to have a business trip to other country. Thank you boss, you give me your promise.

Spirits


My friend told me about the basic of bartending. 
He said, as a bartender we should know "5 spirits"
1. Whiskey
2. Gin
3. Rum
4. Tequila
5. Vodka
Those are main ingredients in mix drinks
The formula :
5 spirit + Mixers + Garnishes = mix drinks
Mixers made from carbonate water, like a tonic, juices, or soda.
Then you can add the garnishes, lemon , orange, mint and so on.
The name of the mix drinks sometimes similar in everywhere, universal.
The formula, the way they serve, kind of glasses they use.

*ngarang bebas gw lupa, kurang lebih gitu deh deskripsinya
Its a mix of minced beef and chicken, 
then serve with (perfect) sunny side egg. Great combination!! (+3)
Porsinya kurang gedhe (compare to the price) kentangnya overcooked. (-2)
We can ask more and more sauce as much as we want (+2)

Guys, do you know the history of hamburger?
Banyak orang berpikir kalo kata itu diambil dari awalannya  "ham" .No, its wrong. Hamburger  adalah makanan yg berasal dari kota Hamburg, Germany. Thats why it's called Hamburger (makanan org Hamburg). Orang Hamburg bawa daging khas daerah mereka ke Amerika, dan orang Amerika memakannya menggunakan patty (roti untuk sandwich). Itulah bentuk makanan yg kita kenal sekarang dengan sebutan hamburger. But with or without patty its still a hamburger. :) 
the place is cozy and perfect for family gathering! Walaaa

 ditambah susu, daging ayam, smooked beef dan telur.

One Step a Head

Chasing dream no 5 : "kerja sama orang asing"

Yeaaa, first I wanna say thank you to my boss and my supervisor. Mereka berdua udah ngasih gw rare chance buat handle project directly sama Japanesse crew walaupun gw cuma staff control ece2 (belum kelar probation pulak). Daaan thank you juga udah kasih gw kesempatan buat presentasi di depan para manager dan presiden direktur OMI dan OES waktu parlel tv meeting Indonesia-Jepang. Gyaaaa!! I wish I can took a photo in that moment. So proud.

I adore their work ethic. They always think one step ahead. Instead of just doing inspection and then selection, they rather do improvement and then repair. They don't satisfy with excuses or we know as "dalih". They do the countermeasure as fast as possible and as simple as possible (as cheap as possible of course :p). They see a problem from many different ways. Yes!! Maybe that's the reason, why Japan become sophisticated country in the world.

 Arigato gozaimasu for all your cooperation. Thanks for your coming. It such a great pleasure to work with all of you.

Jagung Naga

Selain batik, Solo juga terkenal dengan kulinernya, selat solo, nasi liwet, timlo solo, gudheg ceker, dan masih banyak lagi. Menurut pengalaman saya yg notabene pernah numpang lahir dan besar di Solo, ada beberapa kuliner yang tak terekspose tapi punya daya tarik tersendiri  untuk dicicipi.

Saya ga ngerti, kenapa semua makanan yg pedas selalu diidentikan dengan sesuatu yg mengerikan dan kejam seperti Setan, Naga, atau Mercon. Padahal rasa pedas itu sebenarnya cenderung menggairahkan, bersemangat, dan menyenangkan. Namanya harusnya Jagung Seger, atau Jagung Seksi, atau Jagung Hot. Hahaha, entahlah!
